Writing a research paper has never been so easy

Not only don't I understand what I wrote I doubt anyone else would either.

Mine is here

Is it proper to reference oneself in a paper one has written? I would consider that a no-no but I referenced myself twice.

Kobayashi, O., Chicken, M., Sasaki, W., and Taylor, H. P. The effect of autonomous modalities on robotics. Journal of Atomic, Replicated Communication 99 (Jan. 2001), 20-24.
Lee, E., Ullman, J., and Chicken, M. Introspective, interposable algorithms for DHCP. In Proceedings of IPTPS (June 1999).

Heh. Nice one.

This reminds me of the Postmodernism Generator that appeared a few years ago.

One reason I went into History is because it's a plain-language discipline that's (relatively) free of jargon.

Historians may be dull, plodding, and pedantic--but you can generally figure out what we're saying without an English-Gibberish/Gibberish-English Dictionary.

I think Ward Churchill got partially hammered over using his own citations, but he essentially hid the fact that they were his.
