Would you rather see a Star Trek reboot movie directed by George Lucas or JJ Abrams?

We've already seen JJ Abrams reboot, and I didn't think it was bad, so I'll stick with him. I DREAD to think what Lucas would do it. Between the prequels (yawn!), "Crystal Skull" and the constant tinkering with the original Star Wars, I'm kinda done with Lucas.

Would you rather see Sulu, Data or Trip continue on his own series?

Trip, the original actor is still young enough to be a leading man. Spiner seem to be in at least semi-retirement, and George while a fine actor probably is too old to handle the pace of carrying a series.

If the Carol Marcus scene in the shuttle wearing just bra and panties were to have happen during the original series would it have featured Uhura, Janice Rand, or Helen Noels?

If you had to replace certain tech on Star Trek with that of another franchise, would you rather it be from Blake's 7, Dr. Who, original BSG or Star Wars?

Star Wars, the original BSG never showed a FTL and the other two shows are icky British products.

Do the various hero ships actually have toilets, or is the waste really "beamed out?"

I would rather have it 'beamed out', because that implies there are some wealthy children who are so used to having it beamed out that they never develop sphincter muscles, so if they ever get stranded without technology they have to have surgery just to be able to go to the bathroom, and that would make me giggle.

Money, in terms of the show having money makes for a more complex universe, no money is simplistic.

WOULD YOU RATHER have McCoy look as he did in TOS, or the way he looked in TVH?

I don't really care which. McCoy aged remarkably well, I think. He looks cool either way.

Who would you rather have as Ferengi Grand Nagus: Rom or Quark?

Would you rather go out with an Andorian, a Klingon, a Cardassian, or a Ex-Borg?

Andorian, probably. Can't be sure about an ex-Borg, like what species he is, how long he was a Borg, etc, and the other two are too violent.

If you had to be an Ambassador, in an embassy, to which planet would you rather be sent: Ferengnar, Cardassia, or Andoria?

Cardassia. After the Dominion war, I assume there hostilities dropped to 0. Plus that part of the galaxy would be the newest parts of the federation (Cardassia and Bajor). That place will be ripe with episodic shtick.

Would you rather be an ambassador on Kronos, Bajor, or Betazed?

Bajor. Once the Dominion War was over, it would probably start to have a Renaissance, of sorts. Plus, I don't want to be anywhere where people can read my mind. Creepy!

Would you rather have Worf, Kira or the EMH as your boss?

Worf. Certainly, he'd be the most reasonable... which is saying something!

Would you rather explore the galaxy at the helm of Tin Man or explore the universe as a disciple of the Traveler?

The Traveler. I wouldn't mind evolving.

Would you rather board the new galactic traveling starship with the TOS, TNG, DS9, Voyager, or Enterprise crew?

I'd go with TNG or DS9. TOS and ENT are too inexperienced, VOY--well, not the greatest track record there. I think I'd be safer with TNG or DS9.

Would you rather be a janitor on the NX-01, NCC-1701, or NCC-1701 D?
