Would you rather?

More Trek on TV. More time with the characters.

Would you rather have more nuTrek or Trek somewhere in the future in original timeline.

^Original timeline, new characters, occasional cameos from familiar faces. I like a universe with people older than 30 in it.

Would you rather make out with a Species 8472 in human form or be beaten mercilessly by Seven of Nine?

Make out with an 8472. Star Trek may have turned me into a xenophile, but not a masochist.

Would you rather say there are four lights or five?

Ds9. More of a home than an assigned berth on a ship. It has stores, schools, bars and what not. Plus it only gets attacked/threatened two-three times a year/season instead of every other week like the others.

Would you rather be marooned on Ceti Alpha 5 or the anti-technology planet in Paradise?

The anti-technology planet (I'm assuming during those ten years). Though I like technology, I like the nature just as much. Also humans don't do well on Ceti Alpha 5.

Would you rather play 3D chess with Data, poker with Riker, or darts with O'brien?

Would you rather play 3D chess with Data, poker with Riker, or darts with O'brien?

Darts. Data's a machine, so beating him at chess would be difficult: Riker's nearly unbeatable at poker, but O'Brien has shown that he can be defeated at darts (Bashir or no). I'd rather play a game I can win. Plus, Quark's has good food.

Would you rather be stranded in a shuttle with Brunt, Weyoun, or Shran?

--Sran

Shran. We'd have a cultural exchange: Andorian ale and Terran sea shanties.

Would you rather spend two weeks in Odo's brig or waiting tables for Quark?

Waiting tables for Quark. You meet some interesting people in that bar.

Would you rather work for Guinan, Quark, or Joseph Sisko?

Guinan. She'd be a laid back boss. Quark's overbearing and Joseph strikes me as too much of a micro-manager.

Would you rather eat Neelix's cooking or Klingon food?

Depending on how Voyager depicts Neelix's food, I'd try out Klingon cuisine.

Would you rather adopt Wesley, Neelix, Jake, Garak, or Quark's fashion sense?

^Garak's. Quark has flashy clothes, but the cuts are very unforgiving. Garak's textile are still elaborate, although with generally muted colors, and I could work with the neckline.

Whom would you rather trust to "pass" as an alien: Kirk (Romulan), Picard (Romulan), Sisko (Klingon), Janeway (Borg), or Archer (Akaali)?

Kirk. Picard, Sisko, and Janeway were caught doing that, and I wouldn't trust Archer with anything that requires him to leave his ship.

Would you rather be on the run from Klingons, Romulans, or the Cardassians?

Romulans have so many hang-ups, certainly one of them would work to my advantage.

Whom would you rather have babysit your son or daughter: John Frederick Paxton or Alexander Marcus?

Alexander Marcus (I forgot he was the same actor). Alex Murphy... I mean Marcus, wasn't xenophobic. He had Starfleet in mind during his actions at least.

Would you rather go bald (like Picard) or use the futuristic hair replacing technology available (like Kirk).

Bald like Picard. No way I'm wearing a tribble on my head.

Would you rather join Terra Prime or Section 31?

Section 31. Viva la Federation.

Would you rather work for the Obsidian Order, the Tal Shiar, or with the Klingon High Council?

The Tal Shiar. Besides Section 31, they're the one intelligence organization that's endured throughout Star Trek.

For Bad Thoughts: would you rather take a blind-date to a restaurant serving Bajoran, Vulcan, Romulan, or Klingon food?

Would I rather make up my own question to answer or wait for Sran to provide one himself?

Sran: there's the potential for it to be more witty than the one I write.

Vulcan food. I'd let the first impression be one of sophistication.

Would you rather be Noonian Soong or Lewis Zimmerman's assistant?
