And I'm having a bit of a problem with the last one; being of (sub-)normal intelligence somehow seems a nice and easy way to live in a world of things like Big Brother on TV, Dubya in the white house and McD's counting for food -but I wouldn't want to be 'beautiful'! -people might notice me and I definitely wouldn't want that (see first answer).

Best seller. Multiple copies can be made, so it doesn't matter if it's an original and if it catches fire. Plus, a deeply thought out and plotted book can be inspiring to people; sure a painting can inspirue too, but I'd rather someone pick up a pen and write something that could become a masterpiece or even timeless, than a one-of-a-kind painting. Not to knock art, though.

b) live long but poor, or die young but rich?

Nothing here about rules, so I'll go with option two and assume outside forces in the way of medicine will save me. I've lived poor, even lived in my car on/off for over two or three years, and I know if I could be rich as apposed to poor, I'd go wit hthe fucking money.

c) be beautiful with average intelligence, or very intelligent but plain looking?

Second one. I can't imagine living a life of having nothing important in one's head.

But in reality, I'm quite handsome. My sister is a model/actress, so that will give you some kind of idea.

b) A life, whether it is lived long and patiently, or fast and rashly, is nevertheless one that is richly lived. I'll take what I get, really.

b) Live long and poor. I'm already middle-aged and living paycheque to paycheque, and it's not a bad existence.
c) Very intelligent and plain. Intelligence is more attractive than physical beauty, and it's easier to maintain.
