Well we all know Worfs ancestors look like him so I would love to see Michael Dorn in the next film. More klingons in general seems like it can only be a good thing

I am curious as to what the status of the QuchHa' (the human-looking Klingons) is in this timeline. Maybe Dorn could play one of those?

A fan asked Patrick if he would or could play Picard again. "I think I've moved on, somewhat," he replied. "It would be a retrograde step to go back. If JJ picked up the phone and asked me to do a cameo, I think I would be seriously tempted.

So, no, but yes.

He doesn't want to go back to being Picard on screen. But the cameo doesn't necessarily have to be Picard.

it pleases me that the no vote is winning. trek 3 should be about our new enchanting cast, who are all great in their roles and not a blast from the past like tng and shat who have had their glorious day.

Can I see Shat in STXIII... Oh yeah...

Nah. The new movies are their own thing. The movie next needs to work on its own, not as some glorified anniversary special.

As for the 50th goes, why not just have some TV special with new cast interviews and reunions and such? That should suffice.

THIS. Plus said special should serve as a 'The Making Of...' for the next movie, and be three hours long.

... in the last scene one of the people on the bridge who previously had their back to the camera suddenly turns around,

It's Will Riker in a nuTrek uniform.

He stand and says "Computer, end program." the JJ Abrams universe fades to a empty room with a yellow grid on the walls, Riker quietly walks off the holodeck as we go to credits.

:)

I'm sure it would never happen, but that would be hilarious!

I think every Star Trek series should have ended like this. Then we learn the whole Trek-verse was a holodeck fantasy of his.
