Would the eleventh doctor have been fine in "Journey's End"?

Apart from a few mild seizures in "The Eleventh Hour" the doctor managed to save the world from being roasted.

He was running around alot and wasn't confined to a bed for the majority of the episode.

Ofcourse a cricket bat to the head also helped him "sleep" for a bit.

Would the Eleventh doctor have been able to stop the Dalek invasion?

Defeating Davros and the Daleks seemed contingent on the aborted regeneration/metacrisis thing leading to the DoctorDonna. If the Doctor properly regenerated, none of this would have happened and it is possible Davros and the Daleks could have won.

He would have succeeded if the writers wanted him to, but could not have done so as interestingly or with such panache because that is largely the job of the actor.

I wish he would have regenerated. Then the new Doctor could have waved a teary good-bye as Ten(clone) and Rose went off to live happily ever after.

That would have made a nice finale for Tennant.

The exploding fanboys would have also been a plus.
