Would Q have shagged Admiral Janeway?

Guy Gardener

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
As an exit strategy it's a little bullshit relying on an Imp like Q, but Janeway and Q were developing a completely different sort of relationship than he had established with the Boy Captains... They were almost buddies.

"I'm here, have your way with me, send my crew home."

But would he tap that?

I'm not slighting Janeway for losing bluebook value with the passing calendar, but Q is either going to feel the need to behave like a police man since there's this criminal in front of him being criminal and doing something very wrong and he'd have to, despite his instincts to not give a shit, deal with this interloper splitting timelines (and Q) in half from what must be, since she is derailing the incumbent civil war which he is more than aware about (we've all been the scarecrow!) or is he going to feel all seduced and romanticized, blushing that she would fold the universe over itself just to get into his pants?

What Q is asking for, alittle slap and tickle, is nothing different almost than what she gave the quicksilver lifeforms or how she mothered a new race of holograms with the Hirogen who were born to be tortured and slaughtered for the godmasters thrill... So really by season four Janeway would have accepted his proposal and by 2404 she was probably due for a roll in the hay and damn the consequences.

Of course would she approach him as the Admiral or try to pretend to the captain?

Being a man(like entity) he might have played along just so as to be the meat in a Janeway/Q/Janeway ses sandwich like Anya was suggesting in Buffy when she had two Xanders to play special hugs with this once in season 4.

Age doesn't change Kathy's DNA.

I believe he would. But, of course, I'm an odd shipper supporter of Janeway/Q.

It was obvious in "The Q and the Grey" that he was prepared to do just that. And, it was clear that he was attracted to her and acted differently toward her than, say, Picard (though there are supporters of Picard/Q out there.)

He enjoyed the banter with her and he was much more personal with Janeway than he was with Picard, and had more interraction with her that we saw on screen. I found it all very intriguing and I loved any and all Q episodes on Voyager.

EDIT: I didn't realize your question was concering Admiral Janeway. Woops. Still, I think he would have. For someone like Q, I don't think age is that big of a deal. But the Janeway/Q/Janeway sandwich thing.. not so sure about that one...

But of course, it's just my opinion. :D

I am trying to talk exactly about the Q and the Grey when Q proposed that he and the Captain should make babies together... Would it matter if it took her 30 years to "yes"?

I don't think so. To a Q, 30 years means nothing. But Q would probably make a few quips about her aging, no doubt.

I think all the time.

A q probably sees some ones complete life with a glance all the time continuously.

Omniscience right?

They don't just see the flesh in front of them, but the next 70 years of your life, where you're going to be buried and how your bodies breaks down...

If Admiral Janeway was to arrive during the Q and the Grey to accept Q's off to father a new God, this would knock the young Captains timeline completely off kilter where after she might become wholly unrecognizable to Q, because all the great things she was supposed to do over the next 20 years to get her crew home against awesome adversity in the Admiral janeway Timeline now never happens which make the child version of janeway the super heroine significany less astonishing than she had been when she was fated differently. Fated better.

Admiral Janeway would look more like Captain Janeway that Captain Janeway because Captain Janeway's derailed intended life of action and heroism is being replace for 40 years of paper shuffling at Starlfeet command... When every thing that impressed Q is exactly what the admiral has already done.

I mean it's the same as asking would you still need to kill Hitler if some one changed time that he never became a dictator and stayed a painter decorator? Would Eva Braun have fallen for a trades person when it's more likely that she would sill be into men of significant power who're shaping the world?

If one gives this topic alittle thought- than their is another question. Why would Q be interested in Voyager anyway? Thoughout history their had to be a good reason for Q to intercede in human affairs. Their are only two items; Capt. Janeway and the ship. I',m sure Q felt sorry for Voyager being abandoned and in danger and the crew and ship that was noteworthy for contaminating the timeline. This implies he wanted to bring Voyager home and Katherine home to him. If his primary option was to bring Voyager home it wasn't Katherine. I say 'yes'. Q would shag Capt. Janeway.

Becuase there was an entire episode where he was gagging for her.

The Admiral however?

A little insane and slack witted compared to her youngerself.

I mean we'd al shag Ace Rimmer, even if we're usually not into that sort of thing because that's just who he is, but Arnold Rimmer? Pull the other one.

Two points Manitou

1. Q told Riker and Picard that the Continuum was affraid of mans rate of improvement, that quite soon (just a few billion years) they'd been problematic and a match for the Q.

2. Janeway started the Q Civil war when she allowed Q to commit suicide, so it was her bloody damn job to rectify her "mistake" and squeese out babies for damage control.

Are admiral Janeway and Captain Janeway more alike than different?

Is one unripe and the other rotting, or are they extactly the same plum?

Age doesn't change Kathy's DNA.

yes, it does. That's why the risk of birth defects increases after age of 35. And according to dr crusher in one tng episode, it does.

But again Q's "DNA" would probably negate that.
