Worst. Reinactment. Ever.

I didn't think it was so bad, certainly cheaper than hiring a bear from a zoo or something

If this story was done in New Zealand, someone would lose their job. It's so bad it puts a mockery on the world of news.

I thought it was hilarious and it obviously was not meant to be taken seriously. I can't really see why anyone, anywhere would lose their job for this.

Besides I don't think any news reporter in New Zealand are ever going to have to cover a story about a bear in the woods.

That's great. They should have taken it farther and used a cardboard cutout of the reporter. :rommie:

I don't know what's funnier, the reenactment or the fact that the lady was flipping out because of a bear.

In New Zealand the public can get pretty pissy about stuff. Embarassment for someone like TVNZ would usually mean someone gets shown the door. It's happened before with interviews with certain people.

I could have alomost accepted it until the words from the "rabbit."

For what they actually used the cut-out for, couldn't they have just pulled up some stock footage of a ral bear?

Thank goodness they had the cardboard cut-out there as a visual aid, because really "black" and "bear" aren't descriptive enough for most people to figure out what it looks like.

I was most disturbed by the shot of a Robin as a 'pet.'

I can understand not finding a bear, but they couldn't even locate a dog in the neighborhood!?
