Voting for Season Two is now over and "The Omega Glory" has joined "The Alternative Factor" in the TrekBBS Hall of Shame. Now on to Season Three. In this round, you may vote for your THREE least favorite episodes. The top five vote getters will then square off to determine TrekBBS's least favorite from the third season. For the first two seasons, some voters noted that picking three was difficult because there were so many strong episodes; I suspect this time the problem will be the opposite! Now let the voting begin!

Is There In Truth No Beauty?
The Empath
Let That Be Your Last Battlefield

Absolutely nothing happens in the first two, and the last one just makes my head hurt.

So many to choose from and so few choices available. :klingon:

And The Children Shall Lead
Plato's Stepchildren
The Way of Eden

No kidding, hard to pick just three this time...

And the Children Shall Lead (annoying)
The Way to Eden (annoying)
The Lights of Zetar (about 10 minutes of plot streeeeeeeeeeeeeetched out into one very tedious hour)

And The Children Shall Lead (Worst. Episode. Ever.)
Plato's Stepchildren
The Way of Eden

The Lights of Zetar (about 10 minutes of plot streeeeeeeeeeeeeetched out into one very tedious hour)

Same three for me, although I would go as far as to say I think "And The Children Shall Lead" is my least favorite episode of TOS, and maybe even all of Trek. That one is just painful to watch from start to finish.

Is There In Truth No Beauty?
The Empath
Let That Be Your Last Battlefield

Interesting. I always loved "Let that Be Your Last Battlefield". Ya, it's rather simplistic in today's time, but I've always appreciated for what it was trying to do back in its day and still think it is a pretty gutsy ep for that.

In any case, my three:
And the Children Shall Lead
Spock's Brain
Plato's Stepchildren

Though I have to say Spock's Brain can be immense fun when drunk,

It was a hard choice, but I ended up voting for And The Children Shall Lead, The Empath and The Way to Eden.

So many "clunks!"

And the Children Shall Lead
The Cloud Minders
The Way to Eden

And I present ... season three's worst:

Spectre Without Fun
And The Children Shall Bore
Mourn Aloud Intruder

I went with: The Way To Eden, Plato's Step Children, and Spock's Brain. Space hippies, Kirk horsing around and a remote controlled Spock, do not make for happy childhood memories; Or modern day ones either, for that matter. Truly bitter dregs.

"And the Children Shall Lead" ICK. Even Melvin Belli looked bored, and that's saying something.

"Spock's Brain" Luma and Kara were the only saving graces. Well...them...and the closing credits.

If I had to pick a third-worst(2nd Runner-Up)I'd probably have to go with "The Way to Eden." Yes, it's a camp classic and dumb fun if you're in the right mood, but it's NOT a good story and aside from the cheesy songs and music you can gleefully groove to with a wink and a nod there's almost nothing of value here.

And the children shall read
Spock's brain
The Way to Eden

So call me a Herbert if you have to, that's my picks.

What's sad is that in addition to the three I chose, I could easily pick three more. :p
