Worst characters in each series

ok let me say like this. if you had a chance which Star Trek character you would punch his/her face?

None. What would violence solve?

True naturally, but apparently acting out negative emotions like anger in the for of a fantasy such as punching an annoying character can function as an outlet for stress and said negative emotions.
It's part of the reason people get so worked up about fictional characters in the first place, it offers an easy and safe outlet for anger and other emotions that our modern society expects us to keep under cover.

In that vain; if I could punch any Star Trek character ever in the face just once I'd choose the EMH, right in the middle of one of his opera performances.
Does that mean I think he's the worst written character in Star Trek? No, he's far from that, it just means I want to punch him the most.*

*Disclaimer: I do not approve of punching people you find annoying in real life. As believer of "treat others like you want to be treated" I do not resort to violence to resolve conflicts at all.

My vote goes to Cadet Crusher because of his acting in First Duty especially when he had a argument with Captain Picard

Kirk was the worst of them all; couldn't keep it in his pants. Then there's Picard's constant speeches about humanity. Oy.

And last but by no means least Nu Trek, the characters, the writing, the whole damn thing, in fact its not even trek in my opinion but some sort of parasite that latched on and has feeding of the work that the previous shows did.
+ 1

^ You guys need to be a little more positive and accepting of differences. Not everything that is new is necessarily bad.

And not liking the new movies doesn't necessarily mean that a person hasn't given it a chance. Just that they don't like it.

Doesn't IDIC also mean embracing the fact that some people aren't going to like something that you do like and vice versa?

Does IDIC also mean that we should embrace people who hates us and be tolerant of those that won't tolerate us?

^ Yup. Went into STID with an open mind and was thoroughly disappointed.

Hoped for good things from NuTrek, but not to be.

But if you guys hate nuTrek so much, why are we now talking about how much you hate nuTrek generally, beyond simply what the worst characters in it are, allegedly for the "benefit" of future series creators? Oh, yeah, because the thread got hijacked:

The problem here isn't that some people aren't being accepted for their varying tastes and opinions. The problem is because this is now yet another example of how so many topics, no matter how unrelated to the subject of nuTrek, like this one was originally, all devolve into some people opining about how nuTrek is the worst thing to ever happen to Star Trek. That's starting to get really annoying.

Personally, I am getting sick of this nu trek constant bashing. This is not that bad. In fact there are many redeeming qualities to these movies.

There is no objective reality here. Just opinions.

Please...back on topic.

Thanks.
