Do you play WOW? If so, what server? What race?

For the Alliance? For the Horde?

Human, Alliance. Winterhoof server.

During the one week I played (thank you, free trial), I was Alliance all the way.

The game just didn't grab me though, I'm sad to say. I'm just not an MMO guy.

After several years wondering what was so appealing to the 10 million subscribers, I tried it . I made an account on Azuremyst realm and tried playing each class and race. But aside from having somewhere to explore, I found it painfully dull.

I didn't vote in the poll since there was no option for both. I've been mainly playing Alliance since about December. My main is an level 80 paladin on Bladefist. My alt is a level 80 death knight, but I think everyone has one of them. :p

I spent most of Burning Crusade playing Horde on Icecrown. I had a troll mage that I raided with in TBC. I leveled him to 80 before switching over to the Alliance again. Mostly for more options for raiding and what not. As much as I love the Horde, the population is too small.

Love WoW. I play a level 80 Death Knight on the European Krasus server. Guess what my name is ;)

Jadzia, I know leveling a character can be a pain in the ass, but WoW is an awesome game during instances. Join a guild, do instances on a weekly basis. 95% of the fun comes from the strategies to defeat bosses and loot good stuff.

I don't play WoW anymore, but my main used to be Alliance. Sadly WoTLK sucks and I quit a couple of months into it, hence my gear isn't so impressive. I had all best in slot gear (minus KJ cloak) before WoTLK came out :( Ulduar is supposed to be an improvement but I left my guild ages ago, can't be bothered catching up with gear, getting into another guild that's actually decent and wasting my time with such a boring game again

I have honestly never played "Warcraft" although people tell me I would like it.

And here I thought "For the Horde" was a "She-Ra" reference. :rommie:

I played from August 2007 until November 2008. I'll probably get back into it when I have the time and the money.

Horde, Tauren, Garithos server.

Haven't played in about a month... that's why I started coming around here again... to distract me. :p

My main (and my love) is my 80 Resto Druid (no dual spec, thank you), and I play on Azuremyst. While I'm trying to quit now, I'm waiting to see what the 3.2 Battleground looks like... (AV of old? I'm in!) ... but I find Wrath really made end-game PVE and PVP boring... it seemed like a great expansion at first, but it just doens't have any lasting appeal.

I occasionally play my 72 Human Rogue and 54 Human Warrior on Cenarion Circle. But I never liked guild politics, so I do very little raiding. As a result my equipment is very ghetto.

I have an 80 resto druid (Tauren) on one server and three 72-75 characters there I'm pushing to 80 in addition to a bunch of other alts I'm leveling when I feel like it.

On another server I have an 80 prot paladin (Belf), a 59 DK and 11 Druid I'm working on. And a few alts there that aren't going anywhere atm.

And yet another I have some Alliance characters I haven't touched in months. Highest I think is 16. I just never got into the Alliance side. I tried but most of my experience with them hasn't been that impressive.

Arf !
If you've met a bad - no skill - warlock named Ilvana on Krasus that was me ;)
I've not played her recently, I plan to reroll on a roll playing server.

I'm kind of in this boat, too, though I've tried to quit in the past only to get back into full on addiction mode shortly after. I'll probably keep my subscription going for awhile at least as my brother finally took me up on the offer to pay for his character transfer to my server shortly before I reached pretty much full burnout.

For me, it's equal boring end game and the guild drama that goes along with it. On my current server, it seems every raiding guild wants to raid 5 nights a week, too, which doesn't help. After putting up with that all of Burning Crusade, I had no interest in repeating that again this time around. Ulduar was a lot of fun from what I saw of it, though.

To be fair, I think a lot of the burnout has to do with being a tank. For awhile there, before I learned to say no, I was running 3 or 4 heroics before showing up to tank a raid 5 nights a week, and often did a couple more after the raid. Plus off night 10 mans and what not. On top of that, I quickly learned that the average guild group was actually worse than the typical pug on my server (though, the pugs are generally pretty good. I've had very few encounters with unpleasant people, unlike pugging on my last server). I imagine being a full time healer would be similarly boring after a bit.

80 human warlock
80 human paladin
74 gnome mage
70 night elf druid
68 human death knight
67 draenei shaman
64 draenei priest
37 night elf hunter
33 dwarf rogue
19 dwarf warrior

All Illidan server

If you add up all the /played, it would be pretty frightening.

I'm in guilds but I pretty much play solo. I can't stand the stress of being in a situation I can't be interrupted in. My life is just too full of interruptions so raiding doesn't work, though I do instances with family members sometimes.

I started with alliance and have a couple chars in the 70's and others in the 60's. Kind of sadly abandoned them because I suddenly became enamored with orcs and the whole orc backstory so I now play my orc DK's.

Alliance server: Dath Ramar (oceanic)

Horde server: Akama, Shandris

Everyone in my family either plays WoW now or has played it in the past so our conversations are full of Trek and WoW.

I started off Horde, and played through BC on the Horde side. I switched to Alliance right before WotLK to follow some RL friends and I've been Alliance ever since... but I sure do miss the Horde side. Everyone talks about it, and most people try to dismiss it, but in my experience there really is a big maturity difference between the two sides... from what I've seen there are just so many more idiots on the Alliance side then there are Horde.

My RL friends have actually gone back to the Horde side and want me to go back too... but I've leveled three Alliances toons to 80, my resto druid is fgeared and my rogue and my lock are decentl... just don't want to do it again. I've finally reached leveling burnout. :p

You know... I love healing. I started my WOW career as a lock and enjoyed the lock OPness of BC... but when I leveled a druid for the first time and raided with him Resto, I fell in love... and it's something that I never got tired of. That's all I want to do. What that attidude does though is that it limits what I can do at other times... there's pretty much nothing I want to do when I log on. I used to love PVPing, but the days of really enjoying healing in PVP are over. And for PVE... well Naxx got old in January... :p and Ulduar just didn't appeal to me all that much. The difficulty of heroics is pathetic (come on now... even after you were Kara geared, heroics Slabs and Arc and SH could still get interesting... ;)) So I dunno... not much I want to see or do in WOW anymore.

A friend of mine just left for Warhammer... may give it a try and see how that goes.
