World Of Warcraft - Legion

That completely sucks. It's too bad people can't give their beta key to someone else :(

Now MOP you could pay for. I was surprised they didn't go that route again.
 
Ugh played through the start until you get to Ogrimmar and you're solemnly informed that you will now learn..

"the fate of the Horde". You go up to someone (Sylvanas I think? Don't remember) to hear this as your quest turn in, it all goes black and then there's the whole deal where it is revealed varying folk are really demons. But what the heck. Was that the fate? Was there something missing? It made no sense.
 
YAY!! Really looking fwd to it. Playing the beta has helped me sort what I'll do first in Legion. DH's are fun but I'm going to level my main instead. Also the allure of the gnome hunter has kind of faded for me, though I'll still make one on my alliance server because of his awesome saved name and because I like that server and want to spend more time there.

The most amazing thing about DH's is the stuff you can do with the gliding, wow.
 
@teacake: the screen going black means there will be a cinematic at that point, but they are not available in beta for spoiler reasons.
 
Sold all the follower upgrades I hadn't used. I also got one more Blingtron's Secret Vault follower mission today. Just in time. Could only get one treasure hunter on the mission though, so it'll only get me 2000g.
 
oh well, I was having nightmares that all mine would pop Blingtron and I wouldn't have enough time.

I had to do all manner of troubleshooting bullshit to get this pre-patch to even begin downloading which it is finally, laboriously doing. I've been playing since BC on much shittier, un-updated computers than this one and I have never had a problem dl'ing anything from WoW before.

Even though it has passed the "playable" line it is still not letting me hit play :(
 
Mine autodownloaded the patch weeks ago.

Wow, some classes just have nothing to do during combat now. Find myself waiting between cooldowns for a button to push. Any button. Feels like I am doing sub-optimal damage because I have nothing to spam. Meanwhile, other classes, like ret paly, have too many things to hit. You can't keep up with all the combat abilities you could be activating because they cool down so fast.

But hey, all my characters look fashionable now.
 
I was away for a month so I am assuming that's why I am STILL DOWNLOADING the frakking thing.

It is one inch past playable but still won't let me play.
 
Been leveling a warrior this week. First time I ever bothered with the class. Just hit level 65. Man, Fury spec feels overpowered. I've basically only had to use the WhirlWind ability for something like 40 levels now. It just one and two shots everything. I run up to quest bosses, two clicks and dead. I run into packs of 5 and 6 mobs, one or two clicks and they all fall down dead. Everything just dies really quick. Quicker than with my rogue. And the warrior gets plate mail, so I just wade in with total disregard. If you haven't tried it lately, try fury spec and whirlwind. But be quick, I get the feeling Blizz will notice eventually and nerf it into the ground,

I'm still hoping for a really nice beach. My favorite beachside hangout was destroyed in the Cataclysm.

Hopefully there will be a goblin outpost in Broken Isles that has some good umbrellas and a bar.
 
I am SO into my gnome hunter. I love him.

Usually I mess around with an alt during a boring bit but it doesn't really stick. And I've had gnomes (pre Horde obsession) and I've had hunters but.. he's just so much fun with his exploding sheep pet.

Of course I'll probably abandon him once Legion drops and be mainlining the main but this one I will return to.
