I really hope Milner does better than the crap performance he put in against the USA, although I understand he wasn't feeling great in that match.
Upson is taking our feared centre-back position. We've been through 3 of those already with Ferdinand, King and Carragher. Upson is pretty much at the bottom of the pecking order, although I hope he'll do better than Carragher in the role. I think he has a bit more pace.
The rest of the squad I was completely expecting to turn up.
James, Johnson, Cole and Gerrard are the only England players that have impressed me so far, while I hope that the others can put on a better performance than against Algeria.
Reports from the BBC say that they're really acting serious this time round. Good news, but every game in the World Cup should be serious. Did they think that Algeria was just a practice or something?
