I pity you fools who live in countries that have national teams that can actually play football. I on the other hand am completely free to switch around my allegiance any time and wherever I want.![]()
No offense, I wish England the best (it's always fun when they are doing well), but that's extremely optimistic imo. Yes, England will probably get to the 1/8 finals, will probably even win their group, but none of the opponents in that group are push-overs (remember that Slovenia beat Hiddink's Russia in the play-off for example!). And I'm still convinced the Serbian team could achieve greatness in this World Cup. You can only hope Capello doesn't think the same as you.
I'm confident largely because I know that when push comes to shove Capello won't let the team be over-confident
Seeing how we stormed through qualification, and given the relative strength of our group, providing that Capello keeps the squad grounded we should walk it.
He's in my FM2010 Udinese team. Annoyingly flaky just now!for other teams i fell that Chile may be a surprise for some people with there all out style of attacking football which maybe fun to watch especially Sanchez on the left wing,

And some people wonder why Americans don't like soccer.
Great isn't it?
Lots of people insist the Welsh support England. Ha. They can sod right off. I will be entirely neutral and watch every game. Well, except...
ANYONE BUT ENGLAND![]()
We can't be TOO terrible since we seem to qualify regularlyAnd some people wonder why Americans don't like soccer.
And the answer is......
1) You're no good at it, therefore it must be rubbish
Yet the Olympics remain popular2) You can't cope with 'world' meaning 'global' rather than just 'North America'.
Baseball games can last far longer than soccer games. It's one of the few major sports without a clock3) Your lack of attention span means that you can't cope with stop-start, even though American football is about as stop-start as you'll ever get.....
No, it's probably none of those. Sometimes shit just happensNo prizes for guessing, it's all three.![]()

Qualification is still qualificationWe can't be TOO terrible since we seem to qualify regularly
Yes. One wonders how you ever managed to navigate such a powerful group as Costa Rica, Honduras, El Salvador and Trinidad & Tobago.
Well, I have no idea as to what you are talking about here. Either way, it has no impact on my statmentYet the Olympics remain popular
Indeed. Congratulations to China on their triumph. Although according to certain American broadcasters, the US topped the medals table because all of a sudden, apparently, it was determined by the total number of medals won, rather than the number of golds.....
Again, whether you like it or not has nothing to do with my point (or your claim)Baseball games can last far longer than soccer games. It's one of the few major sports without a clock
It also makes Cricket look interesting, which usually takes some doing.
I never claimed we were. Then again, we aren't the best at baseball either and yet it still remains popular in the United States so, again, that isn't an reason for soccers lack of popularity in the United States. No, it's probably none of those. Sometimes shit just happens
It's the world sport, and you're never going to be the best at it. It's as simple as that. But hey, you're in good company though, neither will we!![]()
My predictions..
USA will come 2nd in the group. Loses to Germany in the round of 16. Coach Bradley is fired by the US Soccer Association and replaced with none other than Raymond Domenech.
