Working on the calculations for hundreds of years (SPOILERS)

The events of "The End of Time" relating to Gallifrey should take place between the first time we see the War council in "The Day of the Doctor" and the last time when all the Doctors save Gallifrey.
When the High Council comes up with the plan to break through the timelock it is mentioned that the Doctor has the Moment and is about to use it. So this scene must take place after the generals have noticed that the Moment has been taken from the Omega Archive. Since Gallifrey vanishes from our universe when all the Doctors show up the High Council breaking through the timelock must happen before that.

Quite a busy day on Gallifrey. ;)

Ah-ha. You make a very good point.

I had forgotten that the Time Lock and the Moment were two separate things. The war was already time locked before the Doctor broke into the archive to steal the Moment.

This is what I wrote in another thread:

Day of the Doctor interweaves with EOT, there is even a nod to EOT when the General says the high council has 'its own plans'.

- Fall of Arcadia begins, fighting happens the Doctor is there and the painting is 'captured' .

- Doctor writes 'No More' then escapes in the Tardis.

- Doctor breaks into the time vault and steals the 'Moment' and heads to the desert planet, issues an ultimatum to the Timelords and Daleks.

- The General discovers the 'Moment' is stolen and reports this to the High Council.

- The Doctor talks to the 'Moment' interface and adventure follows from there with 10 and 11.

- Back on Gallifrey, Rassilon and the high council talk about the Doctor having the 'Moment' that he declares he will use on Daleks and Timelords alike.

- Rassilon implements his plan using the Maste, and Gallifrey disappears for a short time and ends up near Earth. Rassilon is stopped and Gallifrey goes back to it's original location with the Daleks firing on them. The Master possibly kills Rassilon at this point.

- The 13 Doctors show up not very long after with their 'plan' (notice how the Doctor does not deal with the high council and only with the war council ).

- Gallifrey seems to blow up taking the Daleks with them, but in reality Gallifrey is safe but lost in a pocket of time (and yes, the Master is there with them)

General: "But those calculations will take hundreds of years".
Doctor: "Yes they will."
General: "So what's your plan?"
Doctor: "We copy Superman. We spin around Gallifrey so fast it falls out of time somehow."
General: "Hundreds of years for that?"
Doctor: "GERONIMO!!"
