^^I’ve given up on mascara. The most I’ll spend is $20 and those aren’t any better than the maybelline stuff for me. It all ends up stuck to my glasses lens so I only wear on special occasions when I feel fancy
I don't wear any cosmetics at all. I have a terribly sensitive skin and get immediately pimpled like a teenager.
I do use a liitle hazelnut oil or almond oil on my lashes and eyebrows - it gives a nice sheen, deepens the colour a little and doesn't irritate the eyes. Both oils are also perfect if you have a dry skin.
I'm constantly getting mascara smudges on my sunglasses... on my right lens only!![]()
Oh... you're funny. So you can buy eyelash dye from Coles (supermarket). It's a bit gloopy to use and is called '1000 hour' (here). I've seen facial hair bleach too for the other issue, just don't get the two products mixed up and dye the upper lip down black and bleach the eye lashesEye’ve Never heard of lash dyeing- will have to google. The extension thing sounds awesome! As I get older my lashes and brows are getting sparse or just migrating to my upper lip.![]()
6 treatments @ $75 would still be way cheaper in the long run than waxing every month. I don’t have a regular dermatologist but that sounds intriguing.
That’s a good deal, I paid $120 per session.Being rather pale with nearly black hair, my upper lip necessitated bleaching or else some dumbass kid would say "Hey lady! You have a mustache!" (Me to kid, mentally: "FUCK OFF...tell me something I don't know.)
Anyhow, I opted to have it lasered off. It took 6 treatments (I think it was @$75 each time) but it was worth every single penny. I only have a few little hairs now, that are much lighter.
For laser, having fair skin and dark hair is the perfect combo. I had the underarm hair removed (I have about 6 light brown hairs left under each arm) and I did 3 treatments on the lower legs; the last one being done right before I moved up here.
I did a treatment here, but I forget if it was for the neck or what. I have it written down.
Anyhow - even though I only did half the required leg treatments, it was great. I'd say 2/3 of my black leg hair went and the 1/3 hair that is left is very light brown and much easier to shave, perhaps once a month.
I'm almost out of time to get treatments down as it only works with dark hair and light skin, not white hair and light skin. Booooo.
The only place it didn't fully work was on the chin and neck. That area is a PITA. It's super resistant and I have to pay attention to it weekly at the least.
