I posted the Jackman comments already above, which also contains the full interview. I thought this was interesting. Mangold talks about the films that have influenced "The Wolverine". "The Outlaw Josie Wales" has been cited when Aronofsky was still directing the project.

According to ComingSoon.net, Svetlana Khodchenkova is playing Viper. It says they got the info from the movie's Facebook page, but when I followed the link, the only place I saw her mentioned was a cast list. It doesn't specify who she is though, so I I'm not sure how certain it is that she's Viper.

Svetlana Khodchenkova? Damn, that name is quite a mouthful. I'm surprised she hasn't tried to change her name, some actors do that to make it easier to find work.
