Wolverine and the X-men only one season??

Disney bought Marvel and dropped the hammer on most of the in progress Marvel shows...at least, that's my own conspiracy theory. Only Iron Man Adventures will make it to a secend season, as it was renewed before the Disney absorption.

I expect to hear the announcement of a brand-new X-Men animated series for Disney XD before too long, possibly for an early 2012 debut...

Interestingly, writer Christopher Yost has stated that the Disney XD Avengers show is supposed to be set in the same universe as Wolverine and the X-men, so the show sort of lives on through that.

would anyone like to see an X-men series done by the team behind the old Disney Aladdin & Hercules tv series? (mostly Tad Stones, I think he also did the Hellboy animated films.)

Except that they haven't used any of the X-Men characters in Avengers yet...have they?

^^ Logan has a small appearance in Captain America's back story episode at the start of the season.

After getting past the title of the series I really enjoyed it. I loved that Scott and Jean were separated (I wish she wouldn't have returned at the end) I've always hated the Scott/Jean melodrama and I felt like since she's been gone in the comics is when Scott has turned into a great character in the X-men universe. I was hoping to see Scott/Emma develop so I didn't really like the events in the last few episodes that burned that bridge.

I also enjoyed the Nightcrawler/Scarlett Witch relationship. I was hoping we'd see Nocturne pop up in the future that Prof X was in as their child since she was their child in an alternate universe.

Logan, or rather James Howlett, is one of the Howlers that storm the Hydra castle. Howlett is the name Wolvie was born with. He took the name "Logan" after he got the amnesia.

The Meet Captain America mini ep can be seen here.

He is best seen at 2:52 (Where he has his one line of dialogue and is identified as "Howlett". He is voiced Steve Blum, the same voice actor that portrayed Wolverine in Wolverine and the X-Men and The Super-Hero Squad.), again at 3:17, and his best moment is at 4:09-4:14.

Yeah I think everyone was excited to see their take on AOA. I too wouldn't be surprised if we heard an announcement on another "X-Men" animated series. I'd like to see one that didn't emphasize Logan as the main character or focus of the show.

I'd like to see the current incarnation of X-Force brought to TV.

The roster consists of Wolverine, Psylocke, Deadpool, Archangel, and Fantomex.

I'm just now getting to see this series for the first time, and damn if it isn't a well-done series.

Disney needs to figure out a way to kill the previous partners agreements and continue this series properly.

And bring back Gargoyles (WITH Greg Weisman on board.)

^ What is wrong with it in your opinion? I thought it was fine and got better as the season progressed. I also thought it interesting that Cyclops is wearing a version of Alex Ross's rejected X-Men design. In fact some of the plot of the animated series reminds me of his proposal that was rejected before Marvel hired Grant Morrison for "New X-Men".

LOL, I left out the "IF"

I've been loving the series since the first few episodes and am rightly pissed off that they canceled it.
