WOLVERINE 2 eyes 2011 start date

In other Marvel movie news, producer Michael De Luca gave an update on Sony's Ghost Rider 2 (which may be titled Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance). He hopes it'll start filming by the end of the year, possibly with David Goyer as director. Goyer is rewriting his old Ghost Rider script (which was pushed aside in favor of Mark Steven Johnson's take for the first film). Johnson definitely won't be directing, even if someone other than Goyer does. Also, Eva Mendes won't be returning. The sequel will be set in Europe, be PG-13 (a "hard" PG-13 in De Luca's words), and may be shot in 3D (natch).

No no no. Why does Goyer keep getting projects? WTF????

They should go ahead and start working on the special effects now.

Haw. Yeah.

As mediocre as the XO:W was, I find it hard to accept the next one won't be till 2012. They could pump these films out like Twlight ones...if any gave a shit and Hugh Jackman didn't want to take other roles. Shit, Iron Man 2 got made in a two years window. and Robert Downey Jr. made some other films in between.
