WIP- The Seeker

This is a ship called Seeker, which I made some drawings in lost times at work. Star Trek, somewhat, but very different otherwise...You can see a big part of it, is in one piece.

A bit more details. I had a problem with the first render. In the back of the saucer there is a secondary ship that can lift off. Don't mind the colors, they are all wrong.

At first the name was Vigilante. I change it for seeker because it fits the pointy arrow on the top.

I got the engine design already, but I still have no clue on the nacelle wings shapes...I need to think a bit about this part. Done some panelling...

First ship I thought of was the one from the 2nd season of Buck Rogers... Or was that the Searcher??

Can't remember -- Other than Wilma (Erin Grey), I've blocked out most of that season.

It was the Searcher, yeah... and I actually sort of liked the character of Hawk, and his ship for that matter...

But Erin Grey was the main reason for us guys to watch that show, no question.

(I'm worried someone will say that they watched it for Twiki, for the same reason most of us watched Erin, though...)

I did some textures to get a feeling of the ship.

I redid the dorsal ship to fit more my original drawing. I decided to go simple but elegant in the line for the wing nacelle. Nothing too fancy...I did try two other way before. This one I like for the moment.

Oh my god! I have a cold right now with a wicked bad sore throat and when I just read that I laughed myself into one of the more painful coughing fits in my adult memory. Thanks you for that. Thank you.

But, for at least half or more of the second season, Twiki had a real high pitched voice (possibly that of the dude in the suit...?) and it just wasn't the same. When Mel came back later in the year all was back to normal. It's funny, I really hated most of that season, until Blanc returned and it made a lot of difference to the show. Strange how one little thing can make so much difference.

Anyway, neat spaceship in this thread. It reminds me of a weird ergonomically designed remote control or something like that. I like it.
