William T Riker Novels

Hi All,

First post here.. the reason I am here is that I am searching for all the novels that contain stories that centre around Riker. I checked the Star Trek Wiki, which has a great amount of information about this character but nothing to do with books about him.

Obviously ALL of the TNG books are going to have Riker in them but they aren't ALL going to be about Riker's adventures and/or centre the story around Riker. Obviously the new Titan series, which I have read all of, is centred around Riker and the "Destiny" trilogy also was good, which again I have read all of. Now I am reading Imzadi/Imzadi II as well... but when I am finished those two (small) books, I am wondering where to go next.

Thanks.

^The first one to come to mind is Deny Thy Father, part of the Lost Era series of books. I haven't actually read it (and the reviews I've heard for it haven't been great), but it does deal with Riker and his father I believe.

Also, A Time to Love and A Time to Hate deal pretty heavily with Riker, with his father a central part of the plot.

If you mean Memory Alpha, that focuses on canonical, onscreen material. It has entries for the various tie-ins but doesn't go into a lot of detail about them. The main wiki for Star Trek tie-in materials is Memory Beta:

Great, that should get me some places to start from :)

Thanks.

When I watch the TV show, it was always Data's stories I was interested in the most.. and of course the overall stories as well. It wasn't till I really started reading the novels and watching the TNG movies more in depth that I really started to notice how much of a focus my attention was on Riker.

His wedding to Deanna is in the Captain's Table anthology book... though it is a tale of dubious distinction...

I also would go with A Rock and a Hard Place. I read that one again a couple of years ago and it's still a good read. Imzadi provides a good backstory on him prior to Encounter at Farpoint.
