William Shatner and Director Ralph Senensky Reunite

Director Ralph Senensky, 101, and William Shatner, 93, reunite for the first time in 56 years (caption says 57--but they worked on The Tholian Web in 1968) on August 18, 2024 at GalaxyCon San Jose. This was Senensky's first Trek convention appearance. I always got the impression from interviews and his personal website that Senensky enjoyed working with Nimoy and Kelley far more than Shatner but at their ages they can relax a bit and not worry about past frictions.

For those interested, here is Senensky's website, covering a variety of programs (Trek and otherwise) that he directed. Not very active lately, most was done a decade or so ago when he was a spry lad in his 90s.

Wow, Senensky finally hitting the convention circuit at 101 has to be some kind of record. That's amazing!
Yeah it is freaking awesome. I think the oldest I have ever seen was a comic book artist close to 100 and he was still drawing for fans.

Here's Ralphs Episodes ..
This side of paradise,
Metamorphosis,
Bread and Circuses,
Obsession,
Return to tomorrow,
Is there in truth no beauty,
The Tholian Web

All great episodes.

101! And he's still sharp as a tack. God love him, I hope he goes on forever.

Hey, if Shatner and Doohan can be nice in their later days (sadly Doohan's final), then Shatnensky can be a thing.

All we that's left is for Takei and Shatner to knock it off and stop the BS (which I still lay primarily at Takei's feet TBH - I don't think he's even a blip on Shatner's radar otherwise).

I'm not sure he'd be on anybody's radar if not for riding on Shatner's fame, and the happenstance of Takei getting a part on Star Trek, rather than some other random actor.

^^^The smartass in me wants to say, "That's Ralph on the left but that sure the hell ain't Judy Norton on the right, but I won't. :)
