Will you still use the TrekBBS at Christmas?

I got dick to do on Christmas, so yes ... I will be here -- begrudgingly.

In all likelihood, I will be here. My family isn't a big holiday crew, so we will probably wake up, open gifts, and then go off to do whatever it is we do. The only reason I can think of for me now being here is the fact that I suspect that it will be a very DVD-heavy Christmas, and I just may not take time out from my holiday marathon.

It's 11.35pm here at time of typing, and I'm the only one still up in the house. So I just need to stick it out another 25 minutes for the win.

I'll be here...as it turns out, at 5pm tonight, my dad informs me he's not doing Christmas dinner! So I had to do an emergency Turkey buy in the last half hour of the grocery store's hours today!

So I guess I'm doing Christmas dinner for the first time in my life!

My mom has the flu, so we've rescheduled tomorrow's family christmas dinner to the weekend. I just hope I won't get sick too.

Christmas Vacation is basically the only time of year I have enough useless freetime to be on trekbbs consistantly- so yes!

My extended family lives across the US, and my immediate family is extravengently boring(our xmas celebrations consist of watching alot of TV specials and alot of movies, and arguing about whether or not to turn off the christmas lights over-night).


And in the summer, I have to work and I have lots of swimming and summer programs to do. Every other time of the year my life is one big globule of homework-procrastination.

While my entire family spends christmas togethe a 36 hour drive away, I am going to be here, spending my christmas with the Trekbbs family. Go me.
