Same here---dropped cable about 5 years ago. HBO Now, CBSAA, and Netflix keeps us happy with an occasional season pass for a show on iTunes.
I opted out after the finale and told them why. I also told them I'd be back for S2.
Cancelled ten minutes after the finale. I had to give up my favorite beverage for a while to pay for the service (money is tight but Trek is important to me), and, on balance, it turns out I like that drink much more than I liked Discovery
I wish my favorite beverage cost me only $6 a month.
Good luck with that.............I'm hoping it'll be on network TV by season 2.
The closest we might get is strip-syndication on BBC America if they reach ~100 episodes...
... which would take until the mid-2020s at this rate.
