I want to be able to re-watch, and we had a subscription prior to DSC being released anyway...so maintaining.

I also cancelled. I have a lower threshold. If they ran new after trek that covered historical trek, I'd subscribe for that. I just know that, other to watch Discovery, I would never use CBS's app as the exclusive programming isn't there (given premium cable and netflix subscriptions)

the only reason i've kept my subscription was to take screenshots for memory alpha.

i'm wasting my money.

its 5 bucks, that's a decent burger. I like the rerurns, plus they have the un-remastered TOS episodes. I'll get around to cancelling at some point.

Less than a decent beer, even. For me, it's just the principle of it. I'd feel differently if I watched any CBS primetime, but as it stands, all I ever watch is news stuff which shows up free on CBSN, Colbert, who airs on YouTube almost immediately, and the NFL in season. Besides the two digital series, there's no there there.

It's autopaid like almost everything else, so I'll forget I have it until S2 begins.

I'm bad with money.

Cancelled ten minutes after the finale. I had to give up my favorite beverage for a while to pay for the service (money is tight but Trek is important to me), and, on balance, it turns out I like that drink much more than I liked Discovery.

I will not resubscribe for Season 2 (not worth it to me), but will watch any free parts released publicly and will probably end up using a Free Trial Month at some point after Season 2 ends so I can binge it, then cancel again. I told them as much in my exit survey.

Cancelled so hard. The only things I even watch would be Big Bang Theory, Criminal Minds and NCIS. Not worth it.

CBS offers nothing of interest for me, so I cancelled a week after the finale. I'm still paid until mid-March, so I can rewatch to my heart's content until then.

I'm hoping it'll be on network TV by season 2.

The closest we might get is strip-syndication on BBC America if they reach ~100 episodes...

... which would take until the mid-2020s at this rate.

It's a Star Trek show. If some CBS exec decides tomorrow that the whole show was a mistake and shuts it down, it is guaranteed to air on Netflix, BBC America, Heroes & Icons, CBS's weird app, and wherever "all of Star Trek" winds up in the future.

Star Trek: Discovery will never be off the air.

I cancelled at the mid-season break.
You're a brave man. I'm curious why, weren't you interested in where the ship ended up?
I'm seriously considering cancelling, though I haven't done it yet. I only subscribed for Discovery and am only interested in Trek shows on CBSAA. I really have no interest in re-watching S1 of Discovery, or re-watching earlier Trek series. There are several non-Trek related shows that are far more interesting to me now like Westworld, Altered Carbon, Jessica Jones S2, Fear of the Walking Dead, etc.
