I don't know why, but for some reason I see the TrekBBS ending...in fire! I see an apocalyptic final chapter for our beloved message board, with only a few survivors left standing.

I've been a member for almost 9 years, and I can't see myself leaving any time soon. There are also other members that I just can't imagine not existing here. I see their names, and I know they belong here. They are a part of this place.

Do you believe you are one of these posters? Will you be here when the final post is made? Who will make that final post? Will the final thread be locked, or will topics be left open with no resolution? Will everything simply be forgotten?

Will it be found by later generations who will make it their own? And how do we leave our mark for those generations?
