Will we now get a uniform Marvel Movie universe?

With the Hulk, Iron Man, Thor and the rest of the movies that will build up to the Avengers movie, will all other Marvel movies be part of the same universe/continuity?!?
Like the new Spider-man movie...
Personally i hope they will try to do that...
Because the X-men - , the Spider-man - and Blade trilogy, the Daredevil/Elektra double bill, The Fantastic Four double bill, The Punisher double bill, Ghostrider and Wolverine all felt rather seperate/disjointed from each-other...

I would love to see it happen, but so long as the various properties are as spread out amongst the studios as they are (Iron Man, Thor, Cap, Hulk, and Avengers with Disney/Marvel, Spider-Man with Sony and X-Men, Fantastic Four, Daredevil with FOX), I don't see it as a realistic possibility.

NO.

All characters produced by Marvel Studios WILL be part of the same cinematic universe. They stated that from the onset of Iron Man, reinforced it with Incredible Hulk and will do so again with name drops(Cap/Thor) in IM:2 it seems.

Sony has Spiderman
Lionsgate has Punisher
New Line has Blade (which should revert back soon I'd think)
Fox has X-Men, FF, GR, DD, Elektra and frankly I think they are missing an opportunity to at least make them peripherally in the same universe. It would rival what Marvel is doing.

With the Hulk and FF movies bombing, and a Spiderman reboot. I dont see how. The actors also move on to other projects. If there is an Avengers movie it should be with maybe one of the major characters from a current film series and the rest characters not yet used.

Well, there are apparently plans for a Hulk sequel, heck, the ending pratically forces it...

Thirty-one days later, Banner is in Bella Coola, British Columbia. Instead of trying to suppress his transformations, he is attempting to initiate them in a controlled manner. As his eyes turn green, a grin appears on his face.
With one of the other Hulk personas even...

I think Dar was referring to the 2003 Hulk movie bombing, not the Ed Norton version.

I think Columbia has Ghost Rider. Is that part of Fox?

could Kick-Ass or the upcoming Runaways live in this Marvel movie universe? i noticed Kick-Ass didn't have the Marvel motion graphic at the beginning either.

I never really thought EITHER of them bombed, to be honest. Just that TIH was more in line with the comics than Ang Lee's interesting but un-comicy take on the mythos.

I've heard a while ago that Marvel wanted to get the movie rights to Daredevil back. I hope so. Daredevil is just screaming for a "The Dark Knight-like" movie.

Kick-Ass can't, since the comic version was never part of the Marvel Universe to begin with.

As for Runaways, it's possible, since from what I can tell Marvel Studios is producing the movie solo, as they are doing with the confirmed shared universe movies. But I would think we would have heard by now if it will take place in that universe.

I wonder if Runaways would have an Iron Man reference in it? Maybe footage of a Tony Stark presser on TV or something.

The Fantastic Four movies are connected with the X-Men movies; there was a picture of Stryker with Von Doom

The DD:DC is very Batman Begins-like. Of course the theatrical cut is a poor man's Spider-Man but we can discard the TC since we have the DC.

Actually I was referring to both. They did ok but I seriously doubt another one will be done anytime soon. Yeah its been talked about but I doubt it. At least not in time to coincide with an Avengers film. Plus I dont think Edward Norton is too enthused about it.

I dont really see how an Avengers film would work (not within a uniformly hollywood Marvel universe anyways) right now anyways with actors from all the different franchises. They want to continue to reboot these characters.(Fantastic Four, Spiderman, Daredevil etc) So whats the point right now? Again I think one major marvel character from one of the current successful series.(most likely Iron Man) and the rest just characters they havent used yet with new actors. Though if they do it in the same time frame as the Thor and Captain America films those actors can be used. Which I believe they are doing.
