Will TV ever die out like in Star Trek?

I believe that the scripted program will not die, yes, it's fun to re-enact Sherlock Holmes or create your own little fantasy world,but it takes alot to do that, and sometimes people just wana sit and relax a little bit

I don't see how it could die out considering the masses of people who just sit there watching it like braindead zombies (I used to have roommates who would just sit there all night long watching... music videos!!!!).

There was also a study (or maybe it was a news special) done where if you were poor, you had the most TVs in your household.

Well exactly. The fact that there is a much higher percentage of above average intelligence on this board doesn't seem to permeate those same intellects.
