Will the remastered series ever be aired in the UK?

I've noticed that the only episodes that I've seen being aired at the moment are still the origional episodes. Just wondering if there's any chance that the new remastered episodes will ever be aired on TV, specifically here on UK Sky?

ETA - changed the title as suggested

I see one every week. But I imported the Region 1 DVD sets.

They're out in the UK from last Monday. Finally...

Maybe Virgin 1 (freeview) or BSKYB (Rupert Murdoch, boo! hiss!) will buy them, especially with TOS back as a hot property.

Beats me why BBC haven't already gone for them. What are the hell are paying the licence fee for anyway...? Besides to cover Ross & Brand's fine, obviously.

I think a slight title change may be in order, like "Will the remastered series ever be aired in the UK?". I saw this thread and my first thought was, "What rock is this guy living under?"
