Will Spock be a badass?

I realize the subject of the post sounds a little jokey, but I'm actually semi-serious about this. Essentially, Spock is the Vulcan equivalent of a young minority (Human-Vulcan) forgoing college (Vulcan Science Academy) against his father's wishes. If not a badass, I'd say he's at least a rebel. In Vulcan terms.

As it is now CANON™ that Winona Ryder is Spock's mother, I don't know. I suspect he could be a bit of a bitch.

In order to make sure today's audiences understand Spock, he will drive in a bouncing car, have gold fillings in his teeth, and wear a gold chain around his neck that says "Logic". I understand there's a scene where him and Kirk enter a night club. Kirk introduces himself as "Master James T" and refers to Spock as his "homey Spock." At this point Spock says "word." They go in and Kirk scores with some Orion whores.

Yeah, I read the script. If you're wondering what relevance this scene has to the overall story, let's just say that Nero is also in the club...
