Will Doc 11 get the regeneration crazyness?

Well on the plus side it gives the actor an excuse for a somewhat eratic performance to begin with (although like Davison and others the first ep he films might not be his first ep)

Being fair if every molecule of your body had changed you wouldn't be feeling 100 %

RE: WillsBabe

It's funny how you describe all of that, because I actually understand where you're coming from. However--and I am not criticizing you--the regen crazy is the part I look forward to the most. For me, it gives the actor a chance to suddenly burst out and show his range. Therefore, as he settles, you get a better feel for his "parameters" so to speak. The 10th Doctor who pushes "the big red button" on the Sycorax ship is not the same 10th Doctor that recently told Davros "no, no no...we're not doing the nostalgia tour!" However, I see the core of that man in Ten on the Sycorax ship.

I agree that when they have The Doctor asleep or out of the picture, it becomes tedious. I think that's why I liked the 5th Doctor's post-regen adventure (Castrovalva) so much. We got a good long stint of crazy-Doc as he looked for the Zero Room, so then it was okay when they shut him off in the Zero Cabinet for half-an-episode. For the modern regenerations, they should waste no time at all with the character asleep or unconscious. Let him be active and crazy, and then stabilize during the episode. Hopefully that will be what we get for Number Eleven, since there's no Billie Piper scenes that must be forefront... ;)

I agree since I spent the whole time 10 was in the pyjamas thinking; "9 would have looked so much hotter in those..."

I'm sorry, gang. I think I must have my frivolous hat on today! :)

I dunno, it really depends on how its handled. Castrovalva for example was a great script because for most of the first half, the regeneration WAS the story. Fives personality was set from the beginning, he was just dazed and out of it rather than 'crazed'. Plus the companions got a chance to shine, and we got to learn some cool stuff about the Tardis.
On the opposite end you have something like The Twin Delemma, where they kept cutting away just when things are getting good. "Oh screw all this crap with aliens and twins. Whats hapening with the Doctor?!"
