So ... Who here has seen it?
Will Any Gentleman? was a play first, then remade as a movie, released in 1953. What does that have to do with Doctor Who? Simple ... Two of them.
William Hartnell and Jon Pertwee (One and Three) share several scenes in this old British comedy.
Pertwee, looking barely out of his teen years, is a swindler and con artist, whose bank teller-brother continues to bail him out. Until something funky happens and it's Pertwee who has to be the "with it" brother. So who should come along from the police? Oh yeah, Hartnell as the chief Detective.
I thought it was quite funny, and I'm glad I was able to get a copy on dvd. (yay, multiregion dvd players!) Including international shipping, I paid less than seven dollars for this goldmine of trivia, and I love it!
