So, my Monza (race type muffler)muffler broke last trip I took with the 1972 MG midget. I figured I would pull it off and see what broke. Took it off and its going to have to be welded. Thinking what to to in the interim I decided to look at the exhaust from my 76 junker I have over in a field next door. I start looking at the pipes and I hear a squeal. I look for a cat under the car and there is not one, another squeal. I call out "kitten" and get another squeal in reply. I pull back the tarp and look at what I found. They must have just gotten their eyes open.

Raccoons freak me out. They are probably the one animal that absolutely terrify me. I just picture them pouncing on my face and scratching and biting and giving me rabies.

There was once a raccoon on the deck of my old apartment (the only entrance), and I spent a solid half hour hiding and throwing things in an attempt to scare it away so I could go inside. It was the middle of winter. Not fun.

These were not to be feared, did you watch the video? They could barely walk, just babies. I put the cover back on and let them be after taking the pictures.

And as soon as you turned around, Mommy Raccoon jumped on your face and gouged out your eyeballs!

No thank you.

Coooool. Raccoons are among my favorite animals. As a teenager, a friend of mine had them at his house all the time where his family regularly fed them. I distinctly remember watching them all line up and stare in through the glass paned sliding door.

^I don't think you're doing anything for his phobia.

Raccoons are adorable. I don't understand why anyone would be scared of them.
