Wikipedia Chain Game!

Use the "Random Article" search, and see where you can get in 10 steps!

Random article: Mohegan-Montauk-Narragansett language, which is an extinct, Native American Algonquian language spoken by the Alqonquian peoples who were known to hunt the White-tailed deer known to exist as far north as the Great Lakes Region which includes Lake Erie which borders the state of Ohio the eighth largest city of which is Canton home to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Can you tie a random article to something in your hometown through hyperlinks? Give it a shot! :).... no editing Wikipedia to serve your needs ;).

How funny, I was just thinking of this "game" earlier today. I was watching the Casey Anthony trial and hearing the testimony about all the articles she was looking at on Wikipedia and some of them were strange, like going from hand to hand combat to preparing for a zombie invasion. It made me think about what kind of things they'd have to say I'd been looking at if I was accused of murder after playing this game.

But I'll play the game anyway! Now that I've written this post they will have a record of why I clicked those links. ;)

I'll start with Frank James Burke, a member of the Gambino mob family, who were known for their money laundering, which played a role in the movie The Shawshank Redemption, which lost the Best Picture Academy Award of 1994 to Forrest Gump, which stars Tom Hanks, who went to college both in Hayward, the city where I was born, and Sacramento, the city where I currently live.

How's that, two of my hometowns in 8 pages. :D

a variation on this:
click on random article, then take the first link in the article not in parentheses, then take the first link not in parentheses on each subsequent page. In case of loops, take the next link after the offending link.
you will eventually end up at philosophy.
