I really dont understand how she could have gotten away with this.
Shw lived with thses copses for over a decade and she looked after them the best she could.
The bodys were of her husband and twin sister who she loved.
Anyway l will let you have a read of this and then you can state your opinion.

There was also a question asked on this link
Do You Feel Sympathy for this woman or not.
I will leave it up to you to answer that question

She sounds very lonely. I definitely sympathize, even if I would not have done the same.

I suppose this is a few stages beyond keeping your loved ones cremated remains on the mantelpiece but I guess the sentiment is similar.

My father-in-law used to carry his wife's ashes with him whenever he went to the Mainland to visit his son. He just couldn't stand to be apart from his wife.

I suspect a lot of people live with a spouse they've decided is there only in body not mind... ;)

This happens every few years or so...

I hope she gets treated..not charged..

Agreed. It seems like that's the direction that the police are going with as well. While technically a crime, it's an incredibly minor one and there was no malicious intent. I feel sorry for her, she's probably incredibly lonely. It's the big downside to living that long.

This story reminded me of the practice of ancestor worship.

There are, and have been, cultures which venerated those who have passed to the point where their mummified corpses were brought out and displayed at the dinner table on important holidays.

I honestly can't remember if this was something that was practiced in Asia or Africa.

My point being, members of our species have been engaging in this old ladies activity for millennia.

EDIT: This also reminds me of Jeremy Bentham's corpse, for those of you who get the reference.
