WHy there are no Denobulans/Xindi in TOS and TNG?

Not to overuse a culturally popular trope, but haters gonna hate. Let's face it Christopher, refuting arguments like these is a waste of time. I have no problem with someone not liking ST:ENT - to each their own - but I'd be much happier if these folks just said "I hate it... I hate Enterprise - it sucks" because that's what the really mean to write before they come up with some argument they feel is obvious. I mean, it doesn't matter if their chosen series commits the same egregious mistake, it's their sacred cow, so that's ok. I love ALL ST - minimal warts and flaws included - and I continue to hope beyond hope, to see ST appear from the ashes once again.

Regardless, keep up the good work Christopher!

Personally, I like the aesthetic of Enterprise, and the history that it introduces before TOS. It feels really well connected in terms of early space exploration by Starfleet. I love Terra Prime especially.

The main struggles I have is with the characters, which can be inconsistent or flat, in my opinion, or kind of dumb.

But, I certainly don't hate the show.

^ I'd say I'm quite 'meh' towards ENT. It is an interesting concept with some good episodes and a nice hint of what is to come, but also has some issues with it--particularly with some of the characters. Though it's not VOY, which I feel is Trek's biggest missed opportunity.

There are some things I would've changed (I'd loved to have seen the ship used be a Daedalus-Class, for example) but if I'm flipping through channels and come upon it I'll happily watch an episode--so long as there aren't any impending Archer speeches, lol.

I love the designs. The sets are so detailed, and they feel so much more realistic than the more stylized and "futuristic" sets of the other series. I love the little touches like the cooling fans on the bridge consoles and the handholds all over the walls and stations (in case the gravity goes out). Also -- actual airlocks!
