Go complain to JMS then.Sure, but it still would have been nice if he had actually held elections for the Governor of the State of Babylon 5 or whatever instead of just ruling by military fiat.![]()

The least of his crimes.Go complain to JMS then.
Oh? Please list them out good sir.The least of his crimes.
That's the thing, different people have different opinions on those subjects. In a largely post-scarcity society, changing uniforms may not be that big of a deal.Too many people have "Free time" on their hands if they're worrying about uniforms and not making something that is perfectly "Functional" and "Useful" while looking good.
JMS?Oh? Please list them out good sir.
Regardless of "Post-Scarcity" or not, changing for the sake of changes sake is just "Wasteful".That's the thing, different people have different opinions on those subjects. In a largely post-scarcity society, changing uniforms may not be that big of a deal.
If you're not a B5 fan, then so be it.JMS?
Cringe worthy dialogue
Casting mediocre actors

I appreciate the foundations of JMS concept of B5 but overall it never got me. I think PsiCorps just was too painful to keep going with.JMS?

Since its post-scarcity and they work to explore different artistic endeavors I see fashion changes to be right in light with this world.Regardless of "Post-Scarcity" or not, changing for the sake of changes sake is just "Wasteful".
I don't want society to be "Wasteful" just for the sake of it to create "Artificial Work".
It's bad fundamentally and there are SOO many other things that they can be focusing on then "Uniform Fashion".
Regardless of "Post-Scarcity" or not, changing for the sake of changes sake is just "Wasteful".
Exactly. As well as allowing people who are more creative in that area (people not me) to express themselves and contribute to Starfleet as well. Why, it's almost like there is this cosmopolitan approach were multiple people can contribute in their own unique way. If only we had some name for such a diverse conceptIt really isn’t, they are just taking the base matter and reorganizing it. Zero waste.
Sure, if your job is to be a "Fashion Designer" for the general public.Since its post-scarcity and they work to explore different artistic endeavors I see fashion changes to be right in light with this world.
It costs energy to recycle that uniform and it costs energy to replicate a new one.It really isn’t, they are just taking the base matter and reorganizing it. Zero waste.
Fashion & Costume designers, there are PLENTY of other things to design other than the StarFleet Uniforms.Exactly. As well as allowing people who are more creative in that area (people not me) to express themselves and contribute to Starfleet as well. They live in a society where energy isn’t the hurdle it is today.
Energy will always be a hurdle.
You can't ignore basic physics.
Energy may be "cheap & common" like pennies are to us in the US.They live in a society where energy isn’t the hurdle it is today.
But, the biggest piece of the puzzle is that this is entertainment.
When you can zap an ice cream sundae out of a wall, the energy hurdles they may face are nothing like the ones we face.
Doesn't mean you get to violate the laws of physics.
