Why is there still a “Lost” forum?

Sorry about that; looks like I accidentally excised one number off of the end of the thread identifier. It's fixed now.

It takes a while for a forum to go.

There used to be a "Star Wars" forum around a while ago and that eventually died and was deleted.

I actually find it quite odd that it is closed. people are still discussing what they interpret the ending to have meant. I mean why not close several of the Trek boards as well if being on the air is required? People would still talk about the show. I think ti should still eb open.

^ Not an apt comparison, considering this is primarily a Trek board. The Lost forum wasn't its own forum, anyways; it was a subforum. The show ended, traffic was low, so naturally it was closed. Closing the subforum does not preclude discussion about the show. In the thread I linked to previously, Timby said that it was going to be removed from public view after a few weeks, so it seems that the subforum still being visible at this point is likely due to it having been forgotten.

There just aren't enough Lost threads to warrant its own forum anymore. Nothing stopping people form just discussing it in the Science Fiction & Fantasy forum (or TV & Media.)

True, I've been rather surprised how few there are. And they seemed to drop off rather suddenly too.
