Why hasn't society evolved enough yet?

I still say it's bunk, why use the Shuttle and rockets to go to the moon if we have access to tech like Trek has ?

It doesn't add up in my book, unless someone's gonna say we never went to the moon in the 1960's, then it's time to put on my tin foil hat and not listen to them anymore.....

As for Mr. Kyle, any suggestions ?

Who's gonna play Mr. Leslie bridge railing expert extrodinare ?

* People wanna know who's playing these parts, yes ? *

NASA only gets 1% (ONE PERCENT) of the Govt's budget. That's probably why.

This is ridiculous. I told you before that posting several times in a row was spamming. If I told you that for posting three times in a row, the same would obviously apply to four.

It's clear the only reason you posted four times in a row after I said not to previously is to either spite me or see if I'll keep up what I said. Then you can have your fun by pretending to sound pissed off because you think posting four angry faces will actually get you somewhere.

That does not work with me. What works is that you actually cooperate instead of patronizing me, what works is you knowing when to quit, and what works is not being difficult.

One warning for spamming.

As a general rule, DO NOT post more than twice in a row, if there's a good reason (and I have to agree) then I'll let three pass. Four, unless you're looking to break down an e-novel, is too much no matter how you slice it.

VH is banned for the week. I just want to say thanks to the rest of you. I know most of you think he's a troll and only didn't say so because you didn't want me to warn and say "don't make trolling accusations". Let's face it, no one wanted to get warned on account of this guy.

The truth is during all those other times I had some glimmer of doubt. If there's even the smallest doubt, there's a chance that someone is being treated unfairly. I have no doubts here.

Again, thanks for not raising to something I wouldn't have blamed you for raising to.

In a strange way, it brought the forum together. Something I was hoping to have since the time I showed up here. Even if it didn't happen quite the way I expected it to when something goes your way, don't stop to question it, just go with the flow.

That's all I have to say.

Well...... It appears we still have a long way to go.

And how !

I've been keeping tabs on where real science is vs what we've seen on Trek, baby steps is all we've done.

It's all interesting, but it's like watching a snail race.

We've dreamed of being there already, science is slooowly catching up to us, but it's like watching paint dry.

Ho-hum....

Minivan goes 2 miles faster due to warp, big freaking deal, can we go to Wrigly's Plesure planet in a day ?

No ? Okay, call me when we can ;)

* Now back on topic, okay ? *

Remember, Star Trek takes place 300 years in the future. Think how far we've come since the early 1800's, and you have your answer

Also, many characters on Trek have said that the real future started once Earth wound up as a single planet Government, after a massive nuclear war (600 million dead, according to Riker on First Contact), after all money was abolished, and after first contact was established.
