Thanks

. That's cool, never had a GameCube. Wanted one back in the day though, did get a chance to try one out at a friends and it was pretty neat.
That would be cool, wish they did branch out for that series. All of that exclusive BS really is silly

.
GameCube was a cool little system, but its controller was really weird.
Exclusivity is cool to some degree...it helps in the competition between console companies.
But, usually, that is best when such a company natively starts out being exclusive. Like Bungie with Microsoft (which now, Bungie is multiplatform, and I soooo cannot wait to get Destiny for PS4), and Guerilla Games with Sony. Capcom pretty much develops for all systems, so I really don't know how Mikami and Nintendo worked out so solid an exclusivity for RE and RE0.
Mikami originally wanted RE4 to also remain exclusive to GameCube, but apparently Capcom had dollar signs in their eyes, and about a year or two after release on GameCube, made a version for PS2 (which included a new weapon and some new costumes, since there were a couple of minor feature issues in the port). Mikami-san was not a happy camper.
Lately, I've played RE4 on the PS3 in its Hi-Def re-release (download from PlayStation Network or Xbox Live). WOW! Not only did they resolve the feature issues (seeing characters in their selected outfits in both game play and cutscenes..a feature missing from the PS2 version), but they seem to have improved the lethality of the PRL 412 laser rifle from the PS2 port, and the game looks gorgeous. (Once you unlock that weapon, you're pretty much unstoppable.)
