Why do democrats get satirised less on TV?

I agree about hypocrisy, but it was a less fun scandal for me.
Global warming is real and it was called the Affordable Care Act not Obamacare, but thanks for showing your bias.
Nobody is saying there are no crazy Democrats, just not as many as there are crazy Republicans.
If you had facts to bring to the discussion, you would have.

If by "opinion" you mean "the overwhelming majority of every scientific publication for the past several decades".

I agree about Weinergate getting some miles out of name recognition alone. As far as hypocritcal transgressions go, Craig has Weiner beat by lightyears.
I remember the opening months of President Obama's term had repeated statements from comics and cartoonists that they were unable to satirize him because at the time there was nothing apparent to exploit. That seems absurd on its face that suddenly artists and entertainers had nothing to go on, unless they were secretly worried about offending our first biracial President with humor. Could it REALLY be there was absolutely nothing to go on?
As for ALL IN THE FAMILY, one of my English professors once pointed out that Mike Stivic was the anti-Archie, totally at odds with every viewpoint, but equally close-minded in his own way (and equally funny). You had to go to Edith or sometimes Gloria for better enlightenment. When Mike left the show, Archie lost his best foil and had nobody to comedically combat on a political level.
The Archie/Mike conundrum, among other things, makes me wish we could remain being Republicans and Democrats, but give up being conservatives and liberals. At least the first two will occasionally surprise you. I surprised myself when I became an Obama Republican.

No matter what you think of Republican or Democrat politicians, their foaming-at-the-mouth, intolerant-of-differing-opinion followers are infinitely worse.

Did I miss the Democratic debates?
If somebody cannot accept the most basic facts of science, their capability to think rationally is highly suspect and that has great relevance in policy debates. But I could move beyond that embracing of ignorance and go on to the ones that are outright delusional. I refer to the ones who have started going on about some nonsensical supposed "war on faith".
Please tell us what was so crazy in the 2008 Democratic debates. I don't remember anything as nutty as 999.
