Why can't people just organize things? And let me know

My life is one origami after another.

Beware the paper cuts ~ to which the pain of being let down by 'friends' can be compared :mallory:

I had a girl friend who was so fickle she would arrange plans with many people for the same day and then decide what she felt like doing at the time ~ leaving 3 or 4 people, having cancelled their own plans, at a loose end and feeling slightly miffed! Worse thing was, if you were the 'choosen one' you would have to help her concoct tales of why she couldn't be there.

Life is much more simple without her.

Ethros, you're right to feel pissed but at least now you know what they're like. Next time go to the film on your own anyway and say how fab it was :techman:

So I asked the girl in question basically what happened then.

As she said in the text, she met up with her female friend, Workmate B, and by the sounds of it they just dossed about in town for most of the evening. She'd also invited Workmate C, a guy at work, who apparently replied that as they'd missed the 6:30 showing now, instead they should meet him at the pub and have a couple of drinks. Which they did.

... I however was not invited to this, or informed of anything.
So she could arrange to go for drinks with Workmate C, but never thought or simply couldn't be bothered/didn't care enough to text me and let me know the cinema trip was a bust. And therefore maybe my evening may have been slightly less of a waste.

A sarcastic "thanks a lot" came into my head. Is it me, or is that slightly shitty thing to do?
