Like Q, he wasn't in too many episodes to be on my list. I found him a bit of a pain in the ass actually!!!

I have a spot for Geordi and partly because I had a Geordi action figure before I was a Star Trek fan but I kinda still feel he was the most relatable to me. I think second might be Dr. Crusher. Thing is, I might have had a different answer back when the show aired, I'd probably have said Picard or Riker.
I probably would have added Pulaski, Ro, O'Brien and Barclay, or do another thread with recurring characters like Lwaxana, Q and Tomalak, with a shout out to Admiral Nechayev. It was awesome when TNG and DS9 were airing around the same time and people like Nechayev and Gul Evek would appear on both shows.

In a way I think I might feel most connected to Picard, particularly the future version of him in 'All Good Things....'
Reason being his Irumodic syndrome, a condition that could not be cured like MS can't be cured which I'm having daily struggles with.

In addition to Data (and Spot), I also liked Barclay... it's comforting to know that even in the 24th century, there will still be people who struggle with peer relations.

Data, Geordi, Yar.

Honorable mentions go to Ro, Barclay, and Spot, of course.

And, best of all, Q tops 'em all! (But not everyone likes him, which is part of the fun.)

Ro Laren is my favorite. Die in no small part to her being the springboard for Kira Nerys and B'Elanna Torres.

I'm also a fan of Data, Georgie, Guinnan, Spot, Barclay, Tasha Yar, Sela, and obviously Q.

In addition to Data (and Spot), I also liked Barclay... it's comforting to know that even in the 24th century, there will still be people who struggle with peer relations.

Barclay was a hands down favorite, but I also appreciated Worf for some of the same reasons, always having to balance relationships and his place in Starfleet as an outsider.

Data is my favourite Star Trek character ever written. Period.

My overall favorites are Gowron, Kern, and Kayla the mom of Worf son...Gowron with his bulging eyes...Kern getting in everyone's face...and Kayla just hot

Also Q, Ashley Judd, and that Irish refugee...and any other hot chicks...

But strictly from the reoccurring cast I'd have to say Picard, both Crushers, Data, Riker...in that order...the ones that annoy me are Barclay and Ro Laren...and Giordi whenever he trying hard to get girls haha...
