Who's the more foolish, the fool, or the fool who follows him?

A line from an old movie:

"For although psychopaths are a small minority, it seems significant that whenever organized and militant hate exist a psychopath is the leader, and if, for instance, one hundred disgruntled and frustrated individuals fall in line behind one psychopath then, in essence, we are concerned with the actions of one hundred and one psychopaths." Sidney Potier-Pressure Point-1962

It really doesn't matter which is the greater fool, you're still dealing with two fools.
And two fools are never better than one...

When you are the fool card in the major arcana of the tarot you are the beginning and end of the Trump section of cards in tarot both the alpha and omega in a regular deck of kards it is the joker big and little joker...both such that they can Trump the Trump cards in say a game of spades or hearts? IDK about the hearts or bridge?

The fool who follows is more foolish, because he had the opportunity to learn from the mistakes of the first fool.

Maybe the bigger fool is the one who assigns the fool label to others and thinks himself not a fool.

But that's more like that The Far side comic panel where the scientists are looking through a one-way mirror at some other people and one of the scientists says:

Yes, they're all fools, gentlemen... But the question remains, "What KIND of fools are they?"

And there are bigger fools out there. Just because everybody is foolish in some way, don't place everybody on an equal playing ground of fools.

The fool who follows is more foolish, because he had the opportunity to learn from the mistakes of the first fool.
The fool who follows is a sad fool because he honestly doesn't know enough and it too stupid to even understand he is a fool to begin with. Those are the fools who are medicated.

Insufficient information to answer. We need to know more about the specific fools.
So many fools, so little time to Mr. T to pity them.
That used to be a bigger problem, but at this point in his life, Mr. T has Mass Pity as a 9th level Cleric spell, and he can use it as many times per day as he wants. ;)
