Who's in the 30's Club?

I hit 30 in January of this year. Kind of a hectic year, I'm partway through an MBA program so I've got night classes and homework, and my wife is looking for professor positions for next year. So we're moving next summer, but I have no clue where yet!

I definitely feel sore much worse than when I was 20, and I get tired more. Got a couple of old injuries piling on that will probably nag me for life.

But work is good, my marriage is good, and I'm generally healthy, so I can't complain that much.

:D Me too.

And I had to quote because your avatar is so freakin' hilarious and wrong.

I'm alternating between :guffaw: and :wtf:

I'm 33. I have to say I much prefer myself as a thirtysomething to myself as a twentysomething. I'm more levelheaded and definitely less angsty. Emotionally very much more stable. What I do not like is the 6 kilos I've put on since my early twenties.

My life is not that different; after 8 years in the working life I went back to school for another study and am now a full time student until next June, which is the same situation I was in when I was 22.

I just joined the club September 27th.

I don't really feel any different than I did in my 2o's.

And I still look like a teen, so I guess it's all good.

I'm 37 and my thirties have been generous to me so far. I have to say that I do begin to show some faint signs of aging, but I still feel like I'm not one day older than 21 at heart.

I'll be 37 this thursday, Oct. 7th...
I don't feel that different from when i was 27 or even 17...
Just a bit more cynical and heavier and also a bit thinner on my head....

I am 36, 37 in December. During my 30's I have fathered two wonderful children. Seen more bands than I could have wished for met Sir Paul McCartney on his own in Regent's Park. Flown over 120 times. plus loads of other stuff.

I'm 36. My current project is to play less video games and get out and about more. I've lived in Eugene, OR for three years and don't have any local friends. For a while all my friends were on Warcraft but I've decided that was kind of lame.

The past two or three years have been about upheaval. I've quit smoking, cut way back on drinking, lost a lot of weight, written a novel, started a website, taken up photography, this year I plan to learn how to cook ...

I was waiting for someone to start this thread. Count me in!

31 and I don't miss my 20s at all. Though it would be nice to do them over again knowing what I know now...

I'm 36, and I'd love to be back in my twenties again. Not because of any vain concerns about aging, but because of a series of chronic medical conditions which have hit me in my thirties and gotten progressively worse since. Not to be a downer or anything.;)

What can I say, I get excited about the weather report.

That much is... apparent.

Dude! I lived in Euguene for several years. (Met my husband there and we had our first two kiddos there). We moved to So. Oregon for a few years and now are nomads thanks to the Army.

Nice to find someone who is living where I consider "home" to be. *waves*

I'm not sure, what are the fees like? Do we get a quarterly magazine?

Has anybody asked if Bonz and RJ want to join? Oh no sorry wait, that's the 1930s club.
