Who's in the 30's Club?

I turn 33 in April next year. I always figured 33 would be a milestone, that I needed to have accomplished something by then.

Sir Edmund Hilary climbed Everest at age 33. What was to be my Everest?

Then I look at my three awesome children and realise I'd already done it. :)

:techman: I like that!

Yeah, I've had 6 munchkins and managed to stay relatively sane and happily married. I suppose that's an accomplishment.

But I do feel like, since my kids are a bit older now, that it's time for me to start pursuing some personal interests. (In the few short hours that are left to me in the day. LOL)

I dreaded the 33 milestone. Both Jesus and Alexander the Great died at 33. So naturally I was worried for a whole 12 months for my life.

:shifty:

Obviously nothing bad happened. Should I have been disappointed or relieved?

I am in the 30's club, but quite unwillingly, I have a big Peter Pan complex, and I have been successfully ignoring the years go by for many years.

*Skips along to play on the swings*
