Who would you love to see cast in the next series?

Terrence Howard in a guest starring stint as a former scientific prodigy fallen on hard times, trying to make a comeback with a revolutionary whiz bang, a la Richard Daystrom. I think he has the gravitas for that kind of role.

Where's the fun in just looking up old, tired, and wore out threads, when we can begin fresh and start anew?

I nominate 44 year old Michael Weatherly from NCIS. A real good looking guy, with a nice wide acting range. Just right for starship Captain.

:)

I wouldn't mind seeing the whole NCIS team in the next Trek series.

Imagine Gibbs as Captain, DiNozzo as Number One, Ducky as the ship's doctor, Abby as science officer and McGee at OPS. Maybe add Ziva and/or that new female character as well.

Amazing!

Now it's alla about coming up with a plausible story how they were transferred to the 24th century.

As for NCIS, it still shines like a big beautiful diamond in my TV series garden, in contrast to all dissapointments with lousy series, hopeless reboots, good series cancelled and menaningless chaarcter destructions I'd to witness the last 10-15 years.

Joel McHale as Captain Winger
Danny Pudi as the android First Officer/Science Officer ABED
Gillian Jacobs as Communications Officer Perry, who's always accidentally hanging up on people. She's the worst.
Yvette Nicole Brown as Security Chief Bennett
Donald Glover as Conn Officer Barnes
Alison Brie as Dr. Edison
Chevy Chase as curmudgeonly Chief Engineer Hawthorne. He's streets ahead.

With Ken Jeong as Chang, a weird alien who lives in the ships Jeffries' Tubes
and Jim Rash as Starfleet Admiral Pelton

Garrett Wang as a sporadically featured Nausicaan or Hirogen. He does bulk up rather well, I think.

Connor Trinneer:Captain Charles Tucker the 3rd USS Daedalus...ya ya i know he was killed off in enterprise but this is scifi so we can do what ever we want...lol

What do you mean? He was left with an injured arm and mourning the loss of his 'daughter' at the end of "Terra Prime".

Anything you might've seen after that was another holodeck-gone-wrong TNG episode :p

I like the way you think Bry_Sinclair......like i said this is scifi...anything is possible..

Nemo me impune lacessit

William Shatner in a reoccurring role as the ship's chef, busybody, unofficial councilor, and all around Jewish mother.

Shatner: "It's none of my business, but ... "

:)
