Who Would YOU Have Picked As The Cast For The Movie?

All I know is Kirk should have been played by Nathon Fillion. He may not look just like Shatner but he has the Kirk vibe in almost every way.
 
I have always supported Star Trek Abrams re-visual or hopefully remake.
However i didn't agree with him bringing back Nimoy as Spock(still am). My cast are.
Chris Pine as Kirk
Zachary Quinto as Spock
Paul McGillion as Scotty
Zoe Saldana as Uhura(my pick since casting sheet news)
Damian Lewis as McCoy(thou iam okey with Urban)
Roger Fan(maybe) as Sulu.
Anton Yelchin as Chekov
and introducing a hot :rolleyes: female character of Arab-American decent as high ranking officer at the bridge.

:confused: That's either brilliant or terrible. I'm not sure which!

I nominate Edward G. Robinson as Harry Mudd!

Probably my favourite actor from the era is Elisha Cook Jr., who was great at pathetic slobs of villains who usually came across, despire their seediness and stupidity, as pretty likeable. But the dastard had to go and get himself cast in Star Trek already! :mad:

I think Tobias Menzies from Rome would have made a great Spock, but it seems like they wanted people who were younger.

Kirk: Thomas Jane, or to piss everyone off, make Kirk female and cast Uma Thurman or something.
Spock: Zach Quinto, its the best casting yet, hell i wouldve chose him.
McCoy: Undecided
Scotty: Paul McGillion, hands down. Or Billy Connolly, now i'd pay to see that.
Uhura: Nichelle is the only Uhura, but if i had to choose someone with the acting skills and grace, it'd have to be Gina Tores.
Janice Rand: Hayden Panettiere

Chekov: A young mop headed actor, still dunno.
Chris Pike: David James Elliot (Yes, it screams Hallmark channel, but i think its a good choice)
