Anything that isn't "TATV" qould qualify as a Valentine in my personal book...
TATV was a Valentine to me. I thought it was a decent ending to the show, and liked many elements of it -- including Troi (whom I hated in TNG) and Riker.
Trip NOT dying. I know "The Good that Men Do" rocks as a novel, but isn't canon in the eyes of CBS/Paramount and the producers. Sucks.

Yep, we saw Malcolm's sister in Silent Enemy, which was the one where they were trying to find out his favourite food. I think we saw his parents too, although it's been a while since I've watched this one.
