Who will die next in The Walking Dead?

Who do you think won't make it out of Season 4?

I don't see the "romance" between Carl and Michonne as anything more than a mother/son one. Calling it a "romance" is just extreme.

Yeah, or we really need a "Just Kidding" emoticon so people like you don't take statements like that so freaking seriously.

But okay, let's take it your way. It's a matter of perspectives. From Michonne's perspective, of course it's a mother/son relationship. It helps her to have a kid to take care of that isn't a baby.

But let's look at the facts from Carl's persepective:

-No matter how motherly she is, Carl knows damn well she's not his mom and she's never going to truly replace his mom in his eyes.

-He's a preteen boy.

-The ZA has short-circuited any chance of him having a normal crush on a girl his age.

-Michonne's kinda hot, and she has swords.

Given all this, I have no trouble believing he has developed/is developing a crush on Michonne the more they spend time together and the relationship is therefore a "romance" - hence the quotes, although that should have been obvious - from Carl's perspective, given his limited experience.

You mean something like this:

;).... ?

Or a simple: (j/k))...?

Otherwise just making a statement doesn't really make it easy to interpret it one way or another and its easy to simply fall on it being a serious statement and not one made in jest.

As for your "Carl's perspective" it's possible to have a maternal connection to a woman who is not your biological mother. No matter how hot she may be or that she has swords.

Well, not only is Lincoln popular but it's *his* character's story! He's the main character and is probably the safest one on the show.

I actually wouldn't mind it if Rick was killed off at this point. With the way the show is at the moment, with the group splintered, I've found I've enjoying the non-Rick stories much more. I like Carl and Michonne but I haven't really enjoyed Rick's character since Lori died.

As for who is going to die next...Tara and Sasha would be my picks. I keep thinking Maggie and Glenn are safe because they're pretty much the only stable couple on the show, but I don't think that will save them indefinitely (and what a gut-wrench it will be if at the end of the season they're just about to reunite and then one of them dies) so I could see either one of them dying as well, but not both.

Wow they killed off Hershel? I guess I'm done with the series.

How long did you think a one-legged 70 year old man was going to last?

Well, they could have replaced his leg with a machine gun.

I'd say Rosita simply because they have a habit of quickly killing off secondary characters of any new groups we meet. Rosita is nothing but eye candy, whereas Abraham and Eugene need to stick around at least a little longer to find out what their story is all about.

I'd agree that Carol and/or Beth could be short-lived, but they could do more with either character if they wanted. I agree that Beth and Maggie should meet up again first.

Oh, and Tara: possibly, but she was already effectively gone from the show and they re-introduced her. Maybe she gets together with Glenn, leading to awkwardness when he reunites with Maggie? Or maybe they kept her just to have a little more zombie chow on hand.

Sasha: could be gone any time after she reunites with Tyrese. Although I suspect they'll do a little more buildup with Bob first. Actually at that point we might lose either her or Bob.

Please don't let it be Beth! I normally don't care about this stuff in shows, but I really want her and Daryl to get together. Forget a reunion with Maggie, I want to see her reunion with him. Daryl and Beth forevah!

No one of the main cast dies but one of the marauders does

I don't even think we're done seeing Tara's sister

Didn't Tara say that her sister was surrounded by zombies and killed?

I think something terrible is going to happen at Terminus, but I'm not sure what yet. I think a few of the cast will die or be tortured.

I don't recall that. They weren't even near each other in her last appearance when she put a bullet in the Gov. You might be thinking of Tara's girlfriend, who got shot by Lizzie? Maybe?

When her and Glenn first get on the road after the leave the prison she says she saw her sister surrounded and then taken.

Who I think will die:

Bob - really obvious
Beth - she's the only one of the more established characters I can see getting killed off at this point, it will also provide some drama for Maggie and Glenn
Eugene - because I was supposed to pick three and wasn't sure who the bottom three are, that screams walker fodder

Who I want to die:

Rick - I hate him, he's a moron and a bad leader, I also don't think Andrew Lincoln is a very good actor, certainly not good enough to be the lead.
Carl - Bad actor, go away
Bob - he got Beaver Casablancas killed.

If they ever kill Rick, then they will prove, without a shadow of a doubt, that NO ONE is safe.

But until they take that risk (and/or Andrew Lincoln gets some good gigs lined up), Rick is safe.

I believe that they won't kill any more major characters of at this point, not before season four. I know, not how they did it in the previous seasons but that's exactly the reason why it would be interesting. Playing with the viewers expectations.

So far the only expectation I am having is that something terrible will happen at Terminus. So partly I agree with Ryan8bit.

I think something terrible is going to happen at Terminus, but I'm not sure what yet. I think a few of the cast will die or be tortured.

However, I might be wrong. Whoever dies, I hope it isn't Beth.

^Pssst, this is Season 4

I hope not, because I love them all, but, I suspect we will lose one of the long time Main characters in the main cast in these last two episodes (IE: Rick, Carl, Darryl, Carol, Beth, Glen, Maggie, Michonne, Tyrese...) and probably at least one of the second tier main cast (Bob, Sasha, Eugene, Rosita, Tara...)

Well if we're going by who we want to die, I would have to choose Carol. I have never liked her from the beginning and I was surprised to learn that she is apparently a popular character with the audience. I don't get it, she's either boring or annoying to me.

I'm not too huge a fun of Carol's either and don't quite get her popularity either. I don't care for her reasons and justifications her killing Karen and David was just plain wrong. But I like her more than I did in S1/S2. But she's not a character I would miss should she be killed off.

^I actually like Carol; I like her growth and her relationship with Daryl. However, she has come full circle now--from the fearful, battered wife to the ultimate survivor. So much so, that she was ready to die by telling Tyrese the truth. I wouldn't be at all surprised if she died. I hope she doesn't, though. I don't terribly care about Beth, though, but Daryl's sake, I hope they don't kill her just yet.

So, like others have said previously, I'd go with the second tier: Bob, Sasha, Tara, etc.

I'll use spoiler code for the latest episode just in case some haven't seen it yet...

They're teasing me! I thought Tara was a goner for a minute there. But alas, my bloodlust was not fulfilled in the penultimate episode. One more to go...
