Who were some of your childhood/teenage crushes?

Looking back at yourself from when you were younger who were some of the girls or boys you had a crush on? Why did you have a crush on them? I can think of a few.

1 In Kindergarden I went to class with two girls who were twins. My entire way of showing them I liked them was to pretend like I didn't know who was who and would call one by her sisters name.

2 Punky Brewster. I thought she was so cool with the mismatched shoes and her punky power stuff. PLus I felt sorry for her because her backstory was she had been abandoned by her mom in a grocery store.

3 My cousin. She was about a year or so older than me and frankly I think I liked her because she was a girl who was nice to me, when I didn't have any friends at the time.

4 Kerri Green. I think it's because I loved the movie "Lucas" when I was younger. In fact I still get pissed that Lucas gets rejected by the hot girl because she wants to be with Charlie Sheen. Between this and my anger that Dawson lost to Pacey when it was clear that Dawson and Joey were more in love on "Dawson's Creek" are proably my 2 most silly romance rants.

5 Sara Dolezal. She went to high school with me and she was a cheerleader and a basketball player. Her dad was the coach of the football team I was on. I'm not so sure why I had such a huge crush. We didn't have much in common and I was two shy to say anything, anyways.

Dirk Benedict. When the original BSG first aired, my little grade -school heart fell head over heels in love with Dirk Benedict's character Starbuck. But I was too young to understand it was a crush.

Harrison Ford. I loved Han Solo but when Raiders of the Lost Ark came out, I lost my damn mind. I became a true fan and watched everything he did. I was a full-on fan.

Tom Selleck. "Magnum,PI" started when I was in 6th grade. I didn't miss an episode for the next 8 years! I collected every picture of him I could find and tacked it on my wall. I had a poster of him above my bed; it was a total crush....and still is. I record "Blue Bloods" so I can fast-forward to Tom Selleck's scenes.

I can't say I've had crushes on real people. I like them, become romantically interested, but couldn't call them proper crushes because I didn't have the self-esteem to imagine them liking me back.

Jamie McCrimmon (Frazer Hines), companion of the Second Doctor. My fetish for men in kilts started early in life and and be traced back to Jamie.

@auntiehill have you seen Selleck's other series of TV movies, Jesse Stone? They're a bit dark, but you just feel for the guy so much. If you haven't, watch the 2nd one (Night Passage) first, it's kinda a prequel they filmed out of order.

Crushes, hmmm... I must have had 'em, but shot if I can remember now, so long ago. I'll think about it.

I thought a few more.

1 Baroness and Lady Jaye from GiJoe. Big GiJoe fan growing up and I really had a thing for these two.

2 Marty McFly's mom in "Back to the Future." I really had a thing for her. Granted it had to be more character based than actress based because I never much cared for anything else I ever saw Lea Thompson in though for some reason I did watch "Caroline in the City" for many years and I don't know why other than back in the 90's I was still capable of watching bad network programing.

3 Claire Danes in "My So Called Life." As a member of Generation X it is almost my duty to fall in love with this character. This is still my most favorite Claire Danes, role.

Pink Ranger (Kimberley) :techman:

Little more lustful as I got older, Sharon Stone because of Basic Instinct

I don't know what happened to me when I was in my formative years, but I've always had a thing for newswomen.

I used to get up at 4AM to watch Mika Brzezinski when I was younger.

Jo Grant, as played by Katy Manning, on Doctor Who, circa 1971-73. I didn't become aware of the Dalek photoshoot until much, much later.

Farrah Fawcett. I had the poster.
Erin Gray. No poster, but those spandex outfits.
My 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Byrd.

At 8-10 years old for these crushes, I had no idea what I would've done if given the chance.

The first I can remember was LuAnn Haslam, who played Becky Thatcher on "The New Adventures of Huckleberry Finn." I think this was before I'd even started Kindergarten, and in reruns, because the show was cancelled before I was even born.

Later, Dana Plato, and then Winona Ryder (the first my own age, the others were older) were the ones who I can still recall. Oh, and MICHELLE MEYRINK!!! ("Real Genius.")

In real life... oh, there were so many cute ones from 7th grade on up... but back then I was so pathetic that I pretty much instantly fell in crush-love with any girl who was remotely nice to me... a pattern that continued well into grad school.

Oh, yes. Seen them all.

Third grade, this girl in my class who had an accent. French or German, I think. I don't even remember her name. I made her feel my flexed bicep.

I sometimes wonder what ever became of her. :sigh:

I had a "girlfriend" in kindergarten, she was really sweet and we were close friends. We went to different elementary schools and I lost touch with her.
A few months ago her father sent me a fb message, "hey, I remember when you were a kid!" :D
